Our cleint is seeking an Azure Technical Manager to work anywhere in the US and interface with Chief Technical Officer, Lead Architect, Operations and client stakeholders thereby ensuring we deliver internal and external cloud services that efficiently and effectively support our business.
No two days will be the same for this individual, but the primary responsibility of this position is to own the process of configuration, maintenance, change management and support of out Azure cloud infrastructure.
You will help assist in developing scalable, cost efficient infrastructure solutions that supports the client's platform and customer experience based on complete analysis of the current and desired performance.
Automate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our Cyber Security standards
Maintain awareness of emerging cloud-based industry trends and technologies which may create value and efficiencies within the Azure Infrastructure.
Clients may include airlines, airports, fixed-base operators, fuel-servicing companies, oil companies, railroads, and the U.S. government.

Applicant Qualifications:
Must have at least 60 months related work experience.
Experienced in troubleshooting environments, performance, connectivity, and integrations.
Knowledge of infrastructure design and components, such as application servers, operating systems, containers, networks, and storage
Experience with Azure DevOps and Pipelines, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Git, and configuration management tools. * Experience with implementing and maintaining highly available mission critical environments for 24x7 availability.
Relevant experience with configuration and implementation of SaaS, Infrastructure as code, Azure, etc. including storage, network, and compute.
Understanding of cloud paradigms (tenancy, resource pools, elasticity, SOA, etc.), components (networking, hypervisors, storage, monitoring/logging/alarming, security, etc.), and service models (PaaS, SaaS, serverless, etc.)
Experience performing design/build/support of multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and proficient in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops for source control and Agile process.
Experience with relational databases is a plus (PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
Strong understanding of Azure technologies inclusive of Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure OMS, Azure HA DR solutions, Geo Redundancy, Load Balancers, Role based access control (RBAC), Azure scaffolding, VNETs subnets, Gateways, and Resource Groups.
Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 administration.
Active Directory administration and GPO policies.
Develop and write clear and detailed documentation and run books.
Knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack and business enabling technologies including, but are not limited to: SharePoint, Power BI, Office 365.
Ability to multitask and adhere to project schedule and prioritize. Adapt to rapidly changing deadlines and tasks.
Job Duties May Include:
Assist in the planning and execution of Azure cloud applications and infrastructure solutions that balance simplicity, standards, scalability, extensibility, supportability, and integrity.
Management of authentication solutions supporting SSO, preferably using Azure AD.
Support application teams to help build solutions that translate business objectives in infrastructure services that optimize cost of ownership.
Maintain and implement monitoring and alerting to help manage and ensure Service Level Agreements.
Performing software upgrades, kernel patching, and errata patches.
Working with automation stack - Cloud Formation, Terraform, etc.
Actively troubleshooting any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.
Disaster recovery planning and testing.
Troubleshooting and providing technical support services
Develop and maintain a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures.
Enable DevOps development activities and complex development tasks that will involve working with tools such as Docker, Azure App Services, and container management systems.
Provide advanced system administration, operational support, and problem resolution for a large complex cloud computing environment in Azure.
Implement production changes during defined maintenance windows and support on call rotation.
Perform and automate cloud computing and virtual environment build-outs, software installation, maintenance and support.
Perform gap analysis activities to identify and document any possible requirement gaps as well as provide scalable and secure solutions.
Coordinate activities of applications teams, security, networking, infrastructure and provide daily operational support.
Respond to technical questions with competence and integrity. Maintain technical quality throughout the project.
