    OVERVIEW

    Join our team as a Recruiter!

    Matrix is looking to add a Recruiter to our team in Maumee, Ohio. This position will be responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process, including identifying staffing needs, developing and executing recruitment strategies, sourcing and evaluating candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the offer and onboarding process. This role will partner closely with department managers and shape the candidate experience at every step. This is a hybrid role based out of our Maumee, OH office. The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with Hiring Managers to identify open positions and candidate requirements.
    • Create a sourcing plan for each new position and modify sourcing as needed. Leverage resources such as job boards, colleges, social media sites, networking events, employment agencies, etc.
    • Source passive candidates for current and future openings.
    • Maintain social media presence for company recruitment (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc).
    • Coordinate review of resumes, feedback, and interview schedules with managers and other key stakeholders; facilitate flow of communication with Hiring Managers.
    • Conduct phone screening of qualified candidates and participate in onsite interviews.
    • Schedule candidate offer meetings and participate in offer process.
    • Provide communication to candidates at various stages of the recruitment process.
    • Maintain candidate database and compile reports and metrics for managers as needed.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by Senior Recruiter and/or Human Resources Manager.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BA/BS in Human Resource Management or related field.
    • Minimum two years of experience in Recruiting, preferably Engineering.
    • Experience with co-op/internship recruiting and hiring is preferred.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to network and build candidate relationships.
    • Proficient with recruitment and applicant tracking software.
    • Must be able to travel both locally and overnight, approximately 10% annually.
    • Must possess a valid and active drivers license.
    • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear.
    • The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs.
    • This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to a wide range of known food allergens.

    We offer market-competitive compensation for a Recruiter with a base range of $55,000 to $70,000 annually, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
