ROLE SUMMARY
Working directly with our clients in the local manufacturing world, the Recruiter manages open job requisitions, serving as an extension of the client’s internal team. The Recruiter is vital to Rust Belt’s core service offering by providing a premium experience for the client - two things that set us apart in doing so are taking a consultative approach and focusing on quality work ethic.

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Source, screen, interview and assess candidates by using databases, social media, personal and professional networking, and other recruiting tactics
Evaluate applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes as qualifications for our clients’ openings within the manufacturing and/or broader industrial sector
Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships during the recruiting and hiring process, for both the client and the candidate
Have a comprehensive understanding of what each of our clients does, manufactures, what industries they serve, etc. and serve as an extension of their internal team
Own supporting tasks necessary to complete your job (lead intake calls, translate client job descriptions into Rust Belt’s formatting, manage postings on our various job boards, keep internal activity tracker up to date, etc.)
Utilize our applicant tracking system (ATS) and keep records up to date
Maintain proactive communication with clients and obtain feedback on submissions, interviews, recent placements and new openings
Leverage industry trends and tools to assess requisition titles, salary, experience, job function, etc. and work with clients to present the best, most competitive candidate opportunity possible
Meet or exceed metrics and goals on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
REQUIREMENTS
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Spunk, drive and a positive, can-do attitude!
Highly organized, multi-tasker
2-4+ years of full-cycle recruiting and/or sales experience
Confidence and stamina to have candidate and client conversations on a daily basis
Team-player mentality that is positive, adaptable, growth-minded and deeply invested in the success of our clients and candidates
Manufacturing or industrial experience or industry knowledge a plus, but not required
Personality!
