JOB SUMMARY The primary purpose of the Scheduling Coordinator position is proper management of agency schedules including inbound/outbound calls. The Scheduling Coordinator actively manages caregiver and client schedules to ensure efficient operations. This position entails managing client and caregiver schedules on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (But not limited to)
• Create detailed calendars, to reflect caregiver and client schedules Manage caregiver availability and skills with client care plans
• Resolve scheduling conflicts
• Manage personnel shifts and assigning work
• Main point of contact between caregivers and clients
• Maintains documentation of associate work records in WellSky and ensures current and complete personnel records for all caregiver associates prior to placing them on shifts
• On Call rotation (as needed)
• Concentrate on current day first, next day second; i.e. an opening in a current day schedule takes priority Ensure consistent, uninterrupted care by handling last-minute call-outs, vacation requests, communicating changes, and maintaining accurate records
ORGANIZATION (But not limited to)
· Schedules and coordinates day-to-day activities of caregivers.
· Performs payroll duties including verifying time sheets, updating telephony records, and computer input for payroll processing.
· Maintains documentation of associate work records in WellSky and ensures current and complete personnel records for all home care associates.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (But not limited to)
• Other general office, sales and clerical functions.
• Other duties assigned by Owner/Manager
EDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIES / AVAILABILITY
• Experience as a home healthcare scheduling coordinator (minimum 3yrs experience).
• Home healthcare experience preferred.
• Competitive mindset to drive results.

• Exceptional telephone skills.
• Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities (Microsoft Office)
• High School graduate
• Experience with direct care, caregiving, CNA or PCA certification a plus.
