Title: Project Engineer

Location: Sacramento, California  

 Salary: 110,000 to 150,000

 Benefits: 10% annual bonus based on key performance indicators. Financial contributions to medical, health, dental, vision, and 401k. Cell phone allowance, and company computer. 

Relocation: Offered  

The tasks required to perform may include, but are not limited to: 

·       Overseeing assigned technical projects including full technical review of field and lab reports, review of invoices and some completion of change orders.

·       Perform geotechnical subsurface investigations including preparing proposals, performing field sampling, assigning lab test results, review and analysis of lab test results, performance of design calculations, and preparation of the final report.

·       Supervising and directing engineering technicians, special inspectors and subcontractor.

·       Coordinating or directing project budgets, record keeping, materials testing, and inspections.

·       Assume the role of Quality Manager and become the DSA lab contact for Sacramento.

·       Maintain and process accreditation/inspection policies for all relevant agencies (Caltrans, DSA, AMRL, CCRL, IAS, etc.).

Must have:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geotechnical Engineering, or related disciplines

·       4+ years in any of the following construction materials, materials testing, inspections, and/or geotechnical engineering.

·       A Professional Engineer registration or be within 1 year of registration.

If you have these it’s a plus:

·       Experience in large technical engineering projects
