As part of our continued growth, Chewse is looking for a FULLSTACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER to expand our small team of engineers. In this full-time role, you’ll be paramount in to bringing our platform up to speed to tackle some tough technical problems. We have a mixture of logistic (last mile delivery) and data modeling challenges to support our scaling company.

Current Tech Stack: Python/Django, VueJS, Postgres DB. Deployed on Heroku.

AS A FULLSTACK ENGINEER AT CHEWSE, YOU WILL:

• See the bigger picture and champion the design, architecture and development of the client side and backend code to build clean APIs and UI
• Build out a growing feature-set, ensuring that customer feedback is being incorporated and our platform is fast and relient
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address these issues
• Dive into our legacy code to determine what's worth keeping and what we should rewrite seeing the big picture and connecting all the pieces together

OUR IDEAL FULLSTACK ENGINEER WILL HAVE:

• 3+ years of software development experience with a focus on web development
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience working with web frameworks like DJango, Rails, Express, etc.
• Strong Javascript/HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with modern Javascript libraries like React.js, Vu.js, etc.
• Solid understanding SQL database development (NoSQL a Plus)
