    Job Description

    Our client, a Film & TV Production Company, is seeking a temp to perm Payroll & Benefits Manager. In this role, you will over see the day-to-day operations with a concentration on payroll and benefits administration and management.  

    This position is fully remote. 90 evaluation period with excellent benefits upon permanent placement.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage and implement accuracy of monthly payroll processing
    • Input all payroll data into ADP Workforce Now and ADP Time & Attendance
    • Assist with employment verifications and initiating background checks
    • Preparing payroll and benefits reports
    • Ensure the company is in compliance with all federal and state laws and policies  
    • Oversee benefit orientation for all new hires
    • Facilitate and manage open enrollment
    • Implement new benefits as necessary
    • Administer LOA, FMLA, CFRA, PFL, ADA and FEHA
    • Ad hoc projects as needed

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years of payroll processing and benefits administration experience
    • Startup experience
    • ADP Workforce Now and ADP Time & Attendance
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of Federal and CA Labor laws
    • Expertise with multistate payrolls and benefit laws
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
