We are recruiting for a Staff Accountant for a leading medical manufacturing company located in West LA.  Ideal candidate will have minimum 1 year public accounting background, CPA Candidate.  Manufacturing is a plus.

Our Staff Accountant assists in completing the month-end close process, processing cash receipts, and implementing other key projects as instructed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Month-end close & account reconciliations

•Preparing accounting for prepaid assets and accrued expenses/liabilities

•Analyzing general ledger balances and recording reclassification entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.

•Preparing balance sheet reconciliations

•Processing cash receipts in JD Edwards

•Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree (Accounting/Finance/related strongly preferred)

•Minimum 1 year public accounting; CPA Candidate preferred

•1-2 years accounting experience

•Strong attention to detail

•The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
