    Reputable company, with a strong mission to give back to the community, is looking for a sharp HRIS Manager.

    Responsible for HRIS, Compensation and Benefits functions through analysis, development, evaluation, and implementation of the company’s compensation plans and HRIS system initiatives. Employee population ranges from 700 – 3,500, through multiple project initiatives at multiple locations within Southern California.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Hands on management of Ceridian Dayforce HRIS system. Promotes proactive approaches using the HRIS to solve business needs/problems, enhances the understanding and acceptance of the HRIS capabilities by directing, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws and recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
    2. Oversees the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or enhancements, including maintenance of system tables, system audits and effective security access to personnel data, continuity of operations and safeguards data integrity.
    3. Creates and implements procedures and practices within the Human Resource Operations department. Provides direction, supervision and creativity to all aspects of the processes involving employee data, personnel files, HRIS system and Human Resources Operation.
    4. Designs compensation and human resource operations services and strategies, makes recommendations and prepares proposals for new and improved programs based on company’s strategic objectives and/or governmental changes.
    5. Advises managers and employees on resolutions for specific problems relating to salaries, job classifications, job content and compensation issues.
    6. Strong partnership with Payroll function, providing biweekly support to ensure accurate pay for all employees.
    7. Ensures services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements related to record-keeping and reporting. Provides data and reports to governmental and funding agencies as required.
    8. Directs the digitization process of human resource files and other department HR related documentation.
    9. Develops complex custom reporting and presentation of employee statistics as needed including but not limited to special projects, reports, graphs, charts and surveys.
    10. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; motivating, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

    Education/Experience:

    • Requires a 4 year college or university degree; a degree in Human Resources Management or Business preferred.
    • 8+ years combined experience in Human Resources management with demonstrated achievements within HRIS discipline.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work cross functionally and influence those outside of direct oversight.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of compensation laws (FLSA, ADA) and strategies.
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • PHR/SPHR certification is a strong plus

    Computer Skills:

    • Strong understanding of HRIS/HCM systems (Dayforce strongly preferred) including integrated payroll including SaaS models.
    • Dayforce strongly preferred
    • Must have advanced knowledge proficiency of computer programs in all Windows environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
