    Global consumer products company is seeking a razor-sharp Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Accounting and Consolidation team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial analysis spanning responsibilities including Worldwide Consolidation and Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Hyperion/OneStream, and Government Surveys.

    The Corporate Accounting and Consolidation team is responsible for the final consolidated numbers that goes to the 10-Q and 10-K reports. The Consolidation team is very collaborative in nature across all levels and always support one another. The team works directly with finance managers around the world as well as with the SEC group. Given the nature of the group, the team is exposed to a wide range of accounting topics and issues, which facilitates great learning opportunities. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare various consolidation analyses and consolidation entries
    • Perform financial statement analysis for Corporate entities
    • Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliation and account reconciliations/analyses for Corporate entities
    • Respond to ad-hoc financial data requests
    • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls are being properly performed within the areas of responsibility
    • Prepare various schedules for SEC filings – 10Q and 10K
    • Perform various government financial surveys
    • Perform additional duties as assigned 

    Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
    • CPA preferred
    • 2-4 years corporate or public accounting experience
    • Big 4 public accounting background preferred 

    Qualifications:

    • Strong accounting and analytical skills
    • Expert level knowledge in all MS Office applications, particularly in Excel, including the ability to perform pivot tables, VLOOKUP and high-level functions and formulas
    • Team player and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
    • Solid project management skills
    • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Fast learner capable of multi-tasking in dynamic, fast-paced, fast-growing environment
    • Mindset and aptitude for process improvement; analyzing process flow and finding opportunities to streamline or create efficiencies.
