Reputable global, publicly traded consumer products company in Los Angeles County is looking for a strong Senior Accountant-General Accounting. This individual will be ensuring timely and accurate accounting and reporting for activities throughout the month end close cycle. In addition, supporting automated Workday Expense and Fixed Asset systems, as well as Benefits, Lease Accounting and Payroll.

**Partial Remote Schedule / Excellent work/life balance**

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Prepare month end journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support monthly bridge analysis / comments for business
• Workday Expense Support
• Payroll Support
• Prepare Bank Reconciliations
• Lease Accounting 
• Benefits Support
• Fixed Assets
• Prepare Quarterly Leasehold Improvement Reconciliation
• Perform related internal and external reporting from above
• Other research, reporting and analysis as requested

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Preferred 4+ years accounting experience
• Good organization, follow up, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
• Strong MS Excel skills and proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with larger ERP software packages preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work remotely with company provided laptop
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
