    Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development for children ages 2-8. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer.     SOCCER SHOTS COUS:

    Soccer Shots COUS (COUS) was established in 2010. COUS covers the regions of Washington D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia, Miami FL, New York City NY, York, PA, and Nashville TN. Soccer Shots Nashville covers Wilson, Sumner, Robertson, Rutherford, Williamson and Davidson Counties. Soccer Shots COUS works closely with Soccer Shots Franchise Support Team where headquarters are in Middletown, PA.

    REPORTS TO: Program Director

    OBJECTIVES: The Recruiting and Training Manager serves as a key strategic partner responsible for driving hiring and training initiatives across the Nashville region. This role oversees and executes recruitment and onboarding efforts to successfully fill both part-time and full-time positions.

    You will collaborate closely with Coaching Managers to support and guide the recruiting and training process for coaches and interns, ensuring a consistent and high-quality talent experience. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, passionate about our mission, and skilled at sourcing talent both locally and strategically.

    In addition, this role focuses on building strong community relationships by identifying and developing partnerships with local businesses and organizations to enhance brand awareness and expand our talent pipeline.

    Recruitment

    Lead interviews, screening, and onboarding for new hires

    Network with candidate resources (colleges, online networks, and community events)

    Work with Coaching Team to ensure seasonal coaching needs are met

    Responsible for ensuring coaches have a positive impact on the organization’s NPS scores

    Create a culture representative of Soccer Shots Core Values within the team in coordination with the Program Director and Coaching Manager

    Responsible for schedule completion each season

    Coaching based on business need, 5-10 sessions per week per season

    Responsible for assistance in planning, preparing, and executing the seasonal coaches meetings

    Work with Program Director and Coaching Manager in creating and developing processes that enhance the Coaching Department

    Training

    Implement the company’s high standard for coaching, and develop a team of high performing coaches

    Manage and develop the training process for all new coaches

    Conduct seasonal evaluations on all coaches

    Coordinate evaluation performance and retraining programs for coaches that do not meet the Soccer Shots standards

    Input all evaluations within 24 hours

    Ensures new coaches complete training process

    Evaluate and update training process and evaluation at least 1 time per year (November/December) or earlier if needed

    Business Administration

    Collaborate with the People Operations Department to ensure compliance with coaches

    Maintain recruitment, and training scorecard as well as key performance indicators to appropriately forecast future recruitment needs

    Ensuring there is regular upkeep of the department’s tools for recruitment, training & development

    WORKING HOURS/LOCATION/SCHEDULE:

    The job description above is a full-time, exempt position. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 5:00pm with some nights and weekends during the season. This position will be in our central office in Nashville, TN and the surrounding areas.

    For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence. An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each season

    To be a Top 10% franchise in participant registration and revenue (in category) and per capita rating and to meet and exceed seasonal and annual enrollment and revenue goals

    COMPANY EXPECTATIONS:

    Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors, staff), and always responds to supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours

    Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time

    Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season

    Provide excellent customer service

    Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity

    Hire, train, and manage a staff of coaches who will uphold a standard of excellence and create a positive reputation for Soccer Shots

    PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS AND REVIEWS:

    Performance will be reviewed after the first 60 days of employment

    Objectives of the position and company expectations will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor

    REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

    Bachelor’s Degree Required

    Minimum 3-5 years of working experience

    Experience in full cycle recruitment or talent acquisition, sourcing, screening, talent pool, ATS, and on-boarding

    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    Proficient in Google Docs and MS Office

    Warm, motivated and approachable personality

    Ability to lift 25 lbs
