Welcome to Startuplandia. Where big ideas are the commodity, and ambition the fuel. Where trends come red hot and can spark whole new industries, or get put on ice, awaiting rediscovery by some future entrepreneur. This is a place many will enter, but few will win. The only certainty here is that the search for the next big thing will never cease. It's a fascinating place to be.
Wild Fruit is a presentations agency with a focus on the company founders and the capital funds that populate this place. We were born out of Red Antler, a globally recognized expert in startup brand-building, and work closely with them. Our charge is to bring our clients' ideas to life on the digital page when it matters most: raising capital, pitching for new business, and presenting at conferences. Beyond presentations, we also take on brand identity and web work when our clients need the support—and execute it everything with the same care and commitment.
Mostly, we're humble verbal and visual practitioners. Learning, tinkering, and executing in the medium we know best in order to bring clients' ideas to life on each page. We strive for the next project we do to be better than the last. All in all, we want our clients to feel as smart as they really are (maybe even smarter) when they present our work to the world. Come join us.
YOU, THE CANDIDATE:
Graphic designer with 3-4 years of experience, preferably at a creative or branding agency.
Effortlessly fits into a highly collaborative work environment, but also comfortable taking direction and working autonomously towards an end goal and deadline.
Easier communicator with both colleagues and clients that speaks with passion and conviction about their work.
Excited by and plugged into the developments in the field: keeping up with the world of branding, and with what's new and interesting in the creative world in general; someone eager to explore, experiment, and try new things.
Creative problem-solver and task-master, able to manage their time and meet deadlines, willing to face design challenges big and small with equal effort.
Excellent understanding of design and information hierarchy, with a strong sense of the interplay of color, typography, imagery, data, and other assets in order to create a compelling whole.
Proficient across a variety of programs, and keen to learn about those less familiar: Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides, Figma, and the Microsoft and Adobe suites being our most often used tools. A willing and quick learner is key.
