    Job Description

    Our agency is seeking a Recruitment Specialist with at least five years of relevant experience in recruitment and community outreach to support recruitment goals for a government public service agency. For outreach the contractor will be required to engage with gatekeepers who work with populations of 17-24-year-olds such as guidance counselors, principals, Job Corps Center staff, current and former AmeriCorps members, and community leaders, as well as gatekeepers who work with populations of 20-26 year-olds such as college career advisors, community leaders, and current and former AmeriCorps members. The contractor will be required to provide status reviews and analyses to measure the success of the recruitment activities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Utilize knowledge and experience with strategies and tactics used to identify and engage with potential candidates including presentations, career fairs, meetings, digital advertising, and email marketing.
    • Utilize experience targeting specific population segments and propose and develop events and activities that provide the best opportunity to reach them.
    • Utilize knowledge and experience creating data systems and analyzing data to identify recruitment successes and areas for improvement.
    • Create qualitative and quantitative reports, prepare briefing slides, and facilitate meetings.
    • Support, prepare, and possibly present two webinars annually to key government stakeholders.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • A bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or another related field
    • At least five years of relevant experience in recruitment and community outreach efforts
    • Knowledge of both project management and recruitment/hiring tools such as Basecamp, Refuel, and Handshake
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively from a remote setting.
    • Ability to work on-site in Washington D.C. as needed
    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in English
    • Experience with 508 Compliance is preferred
    • Experience with public service preferred
