    Sous Chef at Red Cow Red Cow is steak frites in Seattle’s Madrona neighborhood. A classic French bistro featuring house made charcuterie, local seafood, a full bar, and a robust offering of steak to choose from. Our Sous Chefs are trained to work all stations, have excellent knife skills, and are interested in growing their career in the hospitality industry. Our restaurants serve delicious food which is the highlight of the exceptional dining experiences ESR is known for. Caring about the details, expanding ingredient and menu knowledge, and modeling a positive, professional demeanor are key aspects of the Sous Chef position.

    Qualifications

    Thorough understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, procedures.

    Emphasis on accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.

    Strong problem solving skills and adaptability in the moment.

    Ability to learn the POS and other necessary computer functions.

    Comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices.

    Current Food Handler Card.

    Culinary degree strongly preferred.
