Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking a TS/SCI cleared IT Business Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Reston, VA.

As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge applications, websites, and products. Working with your team of architects, developers, testers, other business analysts and alongside user experience specialists, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes information technology (IT) requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across (IT) teams.

Applies specific functional knowledge along with working/general industry knowledge to develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

• Active TS/SCI
• 3+ years of experience with performing business and functional analysis on customer requirements
• 3+ years of experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or IC
• Experience with client interactions, including dealing with technology strategies and road mapping.
• Experience with leading technical teams and coordinating competing schedules and resource constraints.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, writing requirements, test cases, documentation, and developing and delivering senior level briefs.
• Experience with tracking status of multiple work streams to ensure on time, high-quality delivery of software.
• Experience with interacting with multiple testing and development teams concurrently to have situational awareness of status.
• Experience with project and requirement management software, including Jira and Confluence

Desired Experience & Skills

• Experience in working with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT
• Experience with Voltron, ANTs, ATTIC and DoD and IC analytical tools
• Experience with IT services or technology deployments for the DoD
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery.
• Ability to work with the team in a team-oriented, inclusive, and collaborative work environment to achieve consensus.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, comprehend the intent of a client’s needs, and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities.
