businesses succeed. We are seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Deployment

Consultant to support the deployment, configuration, and management of the Maximo

Application Suite on the Red Hat OpenShift platform. The consultant will work closely

with the infrastructure and application teams to ensure the seamless integration of

Maximo on OpenShift, optimizing scalability, performance, and reliability. The ideal

candidate will have strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, containerization, Kubernetes,

and Maximo to drive successful application deployment and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead the deployment and configuration of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS)

on Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring an efficient and secure deployment process over

the entire lifecycle of a project

 Work with the Maximo and IT teams to design and implement scalable and high-

performance application architectures on OpenShift

 Develop and maintain containerized environments for Maximo, utilizing

OpenShift/Kubernetes for orchestration, monitoring, and scaling

 Monitor the performance of the Maximo application suite on OpenShift,

identifying areas for improvement and optimizing resource allocation

 Ensure that security best practices are followed for the deployment of Maximo on

OpenShift, including vulnerability scanning, access control, and compliance with

industry standards

 Provide ongoing troubleshooting and support for OpenShift-related issues,

working collaboratively with the IT team to resolve production incidents

 Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure

Maximo applications meet operational and business needs

 Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex

technical issues

What We’re Looking For:

 Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and

managing applications in Red Hat OpenShift environments

 In-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite, including installation,

configuration, and maintenance

 Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration principles

 Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) and

deploying OpenShift clusters in cloud-based infrastructures.

 Familiarity with on-premise deployment of OpenShift clusters

 Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible) to automate

deployment and management tasks.

 Preferred

o BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Business-related field and/or

equivalent work experience

o IBM Certified Administrator – Maximo Manage 8.x

o Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or

o Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenShift-

native monitoring solutions to troubleshoot and optimize deployments

o Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for infrastructure

management.

o USA or Canadian citizenship
