Act as the company-wide technical expert. This includes the definition, specification, and implementation of technical standards, methods and procedures for everything overhead door related.
Provides leadership, problem-solving, and support to subordinates on all overhead door matters.
Develops, implements, and supervises quality training in relevant areas and ensures best practices are being followed by all subordinates.
Maintains an on-going quality improvement attitude aimed at enhancing the technical proficiency and efficiency to improve end user experience.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Responsibilities
Oversee execution of overhead door projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, quality, and safety
Implement operational plans to optimize project efficiency and productivity
Assist Executive leadership with optimizing project efficiency and standardizing field operations
Direct, coordinate and evaluate field operations (technicians and installers)
Manage multiple projects, coordinating with teams, subcontractors, and owners
Assist Operations to organize crews and schedule projects
Oversee specialty repair projects, including site visits, procedures, scheduling, and supervision
Monitor field operations for quality and safety and compliance, enforce policies, take disciplinary action
Update the CRM schedule
Manage recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of field employees; assist with evaluations and reviews
Maintain open communication with all staff
Oversee shop/equipment operations, establish maintenance schedules, and allocate resources
Promote and comply with safety policies, regular jobsite safety audits, and support safety programs

The Operations Manager position requires an understanding of overhead door projects. This includes demonstrating the highest level of ethical conduct reflecting Red Mountain Garage Doors core values.
Qualifications:
2 or more years of overhead door experience. Residential overhead door experience is required, commercial overhead door experience is not required.

Full time and on-call
