Lease Administrator – Commercial Real Estate

A privately held, commercial real estate firm is looking for an experienced Commercial Lease Administrator. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of commercial leases, including office, retail, and industrial lease language.
The primary responsibilities of the Lease Administrator include: assisting the leasing department with new lease documents and broker interaction, processing leases with in-house and outside legal counsel, inputting lease data into real estate software, interacting and supporting Regional Commercial Managers with tenant renewals and lease compliance, and performing year-end budgeting and tenant operating expense reconciliations. The Lease Administrator will directly report to the VP of Operations and will assist with various property management duties as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Entering new lease data: units, charges, retail options, recoveries, and option clauses
Preparing operating budgets
Entering data that includes estimated operating expenses, base years, caps, etc.
Performing year- end and mid-year reconciliations
Processing and reviewing lease documents and abstracting leases
Assisting with acquisitions and dispositions
Auditing and organizing lease documents
Assisting with employee training in Yardi software and operations compliance
Requirements:
Must hold a strong knowledge of commercial lease language
Must have experience and knowledge with the commercial real estate budgeting processes
Must have experience with tenant operating expense reconciliations
Must hold the ability to calculate caps and base years
Experience using Yardi Commercial Voyager 7s preferred
