    Remote Copywriter Role - Anywhere

    Client is Central Time Zone

    60-75k - up to 90k if demonstrated experience managing a team.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of writing compelling and effective copy for various mediums, from website product pages to email campaigns and print collateral. The ideal candidate has a background in journalism, branded content, or advertising agency experience.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support marketing and e-commerce teams by writing content for email campaigns, product descriptions, webpages, social media posts, offline content, and other marketing initiatives
    • Uses search engine optimization (SEO) principles to maximize copy's reach and accessibility.
    • Edits and proofreads copy as needed.
    • Develops press releases, insights, and testimonials to support integrated marketing communications.
    • Social media or content marketing experience preferred.
    • HTML editing preferred
    • Hone the brand voice and ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all assets
    • Own all aspects of creative copy development, including conception, writing, editing, and proofreading
    • Maintain copy library and messaging guidelines to ensure consistency in all materials

      Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with English/Journalism focus
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an advertising or in-house creative role, both print and digital marketing/advertising experience
    • Mastery of written communication, both short- and long-form
    • Proven creative ability
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully defined
    • Ability to present and sell creative ideas
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to actively contribute to strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution
