Our client is looking for a social media pro to be part of a team where you have the power to shape the organization’s online image with engaging content, through photos, graphics, and video storytelling.

    Have a curated digital portfolio?  We want to see if you have the skills we’re looking for to elevate our client’s brand narrative. Under the guidance of the executive team, you will build and execute their unique brand identity while maintaining a consistent voice across all social media platforms—including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. Using the latest analytic and reporting tools, you will develop strategies and best practices to generate customer enthusiasm for our client’s campaigns.  You will also identify and communicate with influencers in the industry.

    Requirements

    • 2-3 years of experience managing a brand’s social media content and brand voice, developing engaging content, and building and growing a loyal audience base
    • Active and ongoing social media experience with a creative eye for viral content, retail trends and consumer conversations
    • Excellent copywriting skills
    • Excellent organizational and office skills
    • Experience creating posts, email blasts, and advertisements, in addition to creating, planning, and maintaining a monthly newsletter
    • Engage with customer base and respond to engagement posts in “real time”
    • Entrepreneurial or start-up experience a plus
    • Ability to be nimble and pivot in project direction and execution when needed
    • Superb organizational and project management skills with demonstrated experience managing overlapping timelines and project priorities
    • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
    • Proven ability to manage the metrics behind social media paid advertising
    • Degree in marketing, communications or similar is preferred
    • Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred
    • Mac Proficient
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud - Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign
    • Computer proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and database management
    • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and execute social media plan
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

    Additional Requirements

    • Comfortable working in the cannabis industry
    • This is an onsite role.  Remote work from home is not available
    • Comfortable in a dog friendly work environment.  Dogs are pre-approved by management before being allowed to be brought to the office.
