    As a RedSeal UX Designer you will define the UX approach and strategy. You will collaborate broadly to define the user experience and develop a variety of design artifacts (wireframes, etc.) as needed to communicate UX design vision to team members. You will leverage existing standards, patterns and libraries, take into account business and technology constraints while remaining a faithful and effective advocate for the customer's needs and goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    In this role, you will:

    • Design new features and product improvements with a user-centered design approach.
    • Translate technical concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
    • Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for our product.
    • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
    • Propose strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and also new functions and features.
    • Work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
    • Iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
    • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • 5+ of UX Product Design experience, utilizing user-centered design (UCD).
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Expertise in standard UX software, including Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer and the like.
    • Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
    • Deep understanding of responsive design.
    • Have a proven background in conducting user research, interviews and surveys and using this information to create sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
    • Proven experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions.
    • Experience launching a new product/service.
    • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment.
    • Experience with startups and/or working with smaller teams.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to be self–directed when needed.
    • Strong organizational skills that drive execution.
    • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Adaptable to changing requirements and the ability to multi-task and prioritize and reprioritize responsibilities.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, as demonstrated by the ability to listen to and empathize with others, convey confidence, resolve conflict effectively and facilitate effective group interaction.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and to drive closure of issues in collaboration with cross-functional organizations.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills, including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listening and obtaining clarification, responding well to questions and participating in meetings.
    • Strong written communication skills, including writing clearly and informatively.
