Job Description

Redi Carpet is seeking an Accounting Intern to join the team! The Accounting Intern will receive, process, and pay vendor invoices while supporting the Accounts Payable and Branch Accountant teams on an “as-needed” basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders
• Review vendor invoices for correct pricing
• Obtain approval signatures on all invoices prior to paying
• Process check requests
• Set up new vendors in the accounting system
• Prepare Accounts Payable checks
• Maintain Accounts Payable filing system
• Assist Accounting Manager with audit documentation requests
• Support accounts payable and accounting needs

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Accounting Degree Required (or be working towards completion of Accounting Degree)
• Strong organization skills
• Accurate data entry skills
