DIGITAL MARKETING ASSISTANT

As our Digital & Marketing Assistant, you will oversee the digital persona and ecommerce business for our company. This role functions within the Omni-Channel (ecommerce, digital & social) business within our retail stores operations and will be responsible for helping us grow our store to our ecommerce platform. This role has a primary focus on financial and business objectives and requires a passion for all things digital with a comprehensive understanding of the social & ecommerce marketplace. You will also track orders and upload orders into our point of sale from Excel as well as track some AP invoicing, assisting our bookkeeper.

Having an entrepreneurial spirit and effective cross functional communication skills are essential to this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Grow and maintain a digital persona across all available platforms developing multi-channel social engagement.
• Research, maintain, and report on marketing data to guide the marketing direction.
• Implement marketing strategies to steer opportunity funnel.
• Assist in creating materials for product demonstrations and documentations
• Set revenue targets by looking at both high-level trends and detailed key performance indicators in partnership with the owner.
• Monitor performance against objectives and changing business needs related to the website and store.
• Manage multiple product and operational projects simultaneously; track and report on their effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Marketing, Communication, Journalism or Public Relations experience plus 
• Customer service experience
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as graphics creation software or apps (Canva, and many more)
• Solid social media management skills
• Strong creative writing and digital design skills
• Strong eye for photography and photo shoot planning
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• POS software knowledge is an asset but can be trained
• Experience with website design and maintenance
• Strong time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting duties

• Social Media Management: 2 years
• Digital Marketing: 2 years
• Web Development / eCommerce: 1 years
• If you are the right person and personality we are willing to train you in some aspects - self starter with help features a must

LOCATION:

• Kennesaw, GA or within driving distance at least twice weekly to take photographs for social media and website
