    The Law Office of John Redmann is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our growing office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters for a well-respected law firm. As a litigation paralegal, you will be responsible for managing case files once they enter our Litigation Department, communicating with clients and attorneys, conducting research, and drafting legal documents and correspondence. You will also play an important part to the knowledge and growth of Jr. Paralegals in the department. Responsibilities: • Perform legal and factual research • Perform records research • Identify relevant judicial decisions, legal articles, codes, and other pertinent material • Organize and analyze information • Cross-check and validate information • Prepare written reports • Summarize documents and proceedings including depositions, medical records, trial and hearing transcripts, interrogatories, and testimony • Case management: coordinate all aspects of a case and ensure appropriate steps are taken in a timely fashion • Contact and conference with clients • Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contacts, and legal memoranda • Draft and sign legal correspondence that is informative in nature, but does not include legal opinion or advice • Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy • Build and maintain databases and files • Organize and track case files • Review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations • Assist in case planning, development, and management • Prepare for and assist at trial • Attend to office matters • Calendar deadlines: calculate legal deadlines and file documents as required • Draft pleadings, document responses, and discovery Qualifications: • Proven experience in handling litigation processes and preparing for trials • Strong attention to detail • Ability to effectively multitask, manage time efficiently, and prioritize projects is required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills (both verbal and written) are necessary • Experiences in Personal Injury law • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus • Provide training and guidance to Jr. Paralegal Compensation: $55,000 yearly
