COMMERCIAL INSURANCE PRODUCER
Redmon Insurance Agency – Collinsville & Edwardsville, IL KEY NOTES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serves as insurance producer; primary focus is commercial lines
Generates prospects for new business
Meets with prospects to build a relationship, gather underwriting and quote information, delivery proposals and earn business
Primarily responsible for relationship management, new business development, and client account retention
Serves as backup to administrative team in meeting current client needs
Develop and maintain a working relationship with team members and various carrier representatives
Complete training and maintain licensing associated with job function
Performed related duties as needed
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associates degree suitable. High school education considered
Prior successful commercial lines sales experience is required, and owning present book of business a plus
Current insurance licensing
Skills:
Very strong interpersonal skills including the ability to connect with people
Strong oral and written communication skills including computer literacy
Very strong analytical skills including the ability to identify customer needs and insurance solutions
A valid Illinois or Missouri driver’s license
May be required to work earlier or later than the normal workday
Will require work outside the office, extended hours and client visits
