Preparing and reviewing individual and business (corporate and partnership), and non-profit returns involving consolidated returns, multi-state, and international issues.
Assist in preparation of various compliance returns such as 1099 year-end tax information reporting; monthly or quarterly sales tax reports; annual business license and personal property tax returns.
Interfaces with tax authorities and assists with gathering the information for federal, state and local tax audits.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, including the ability to meet all deadlines and commitments.
Provide direction, technical guidance, and training to staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience, required.
Strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service and excellent customer service, team-building and time management skills.
Clear, concise, professional and thorough verbal and written communication skills.
Technical competencies must include advanced skills with Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel.
Experience with accounting software packages QuickBooks, a plus.
Experience with ProSystems Tax and Engagement, a plus.
