    INSTRUMENT ASSEMBLER R/T (REPAIR & TROUBLESHOOT)

    • Performs operations to assemble, rework, repair, wire, test, and calibrate a variety of electro-mechanical and optical products.
    • Requires the working knowledge of and use of hand tools, power tools, microscope, and electronic equipment.
    • Interprets operation sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and written instructions.
    • Performs own inspections related to in-process assembly as part of methods of operations.
    • Records own data for acceptable criteria and perform data reduction operations.
    • Uses a variety of assembly equipment, meters, microscopes, clean room facilities and related processing equipment to maintain customer standards and specifications.
    • Requires workmanship to conform to AS9100 quality and performance standards.
    • Performs any other tasks directed by Management to satisfy company objectives.

    Required Skills

    • Knowledge of parts inspection and statistical process control.
    • Requires the working knowledge of and use of hand tools, power tools, microscope, and electronic equipment.
    • Requires workmanship to conform to AS9100 quality and performance standards.

    Required Experience

    • 3-5 years’ experience in electro-mechanical and optical assembly methods
    • Knowledge of parts inspection and statistical process control
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Trade school or formal apprenticeship a plus
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available
    • Must be a US Citizen or be a US Permanent Residence Card Holder
