  • Responsibilities

    Our transaction coordinator (TC) functions as a liaison between real estate agents, clients, escrow companies, and mortgage brokers during the entire process of a real estate sale. They are responsible for processing all contract documents from the point of acceptance through closing and post closing. This position also includes creating timelines of all important dates, as well as monitoring the transaction to ensure that timelines are met. The transaction coordinator will be deeply committed to supporting the team in achieving greater and greater levels of success, and to growing his/her own skills and developing into a supportive leader within the team. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the processing of all contracts through closing • Assures that all post-closing disbursements, filing, and procedures take place  • Conduct regular communication with clients, other agents, and service providers throughout the closing process • Responsible for keeping the entire team updated on the progress of all contracts and advises team members when they need to become involved in negotiations or problem resolution • Responsible for effective communication with clients to ensure that fanatical service is delivered from contract to close • Assures compliance with brokerage policy and state laws • Make deposits of earnest moneys and commission checks in a timely manner • Ensure that signs are ordered down and MLS is updated with closing information • Attend closings  • Update home warranties  • Process post-closing paperwork  • Assist with training incoming agents  • Handle post-closing issues (tax issues, escrows, home warranty issues, undisclosed property issues) • Maintain all vendor and service provider documents  • Maintain all records (digital and paper) • Other tasks and duties as assigned Qualifications: • 2+ years of administrative experience (required), real estate, mortgage or title experience (preferred) • Ability to obtain a real estate license • Strong computer skills (required), Mac and PC experience (preferred) • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets (required); experience with Google Docs/Sheets and Microsoft Office (preferred) • GED (required), college degree (preferred) • Extreme attention to detail • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in customer service • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks within set deadlines • Strong organizational skills • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills  Compensation: $35,000 - $45,000 (based on experience)
