About the Event Planner position
We are seeking an experienced Banquet & Wedding Event Planner to join our company.
You will be in charge of planning & organizing 300+ private events with detail. You will be required to pay keen attention to details and provide exceptional customer service and intercompany communication.
Event Planner responsibilities are:
Detailed event planning & communication utilizing existing systems & tools
Exceptional & responsive client communication
Upsell & Cross Sell existing events during planning process with add ons & promotions
Uphold planning process & policies
Communicate event plans to event coordinators & event operations
Negotiating with vendors/suppliers
Creating weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
Constant Improvement
Event Planner requirements are:
1+ yrs Experience as an Event Planner/Coordinator with Banquets & Weddings
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of the hospitality industry
Excellent organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Strong Technology Skills
BA/BSc in Hospitality, Business or a related field preferred
