The Edistrict in Downtown Kalamazoo is now hiring disney quality event staff to help us create an exceptional customer experience for our private events. All staff are cross trained to set up, host, serve and bartend, and have the option to pickup shifts in the nightlife division.

Responsibilities:

(1) create an exceptional customer experience (2) setup event spaces (3) deliver food & beverage (4) clear tables & wash dishes (5) tear down spaces and secure inventory.

Schedule: 

• 1-3 shifts per week/15 hours avg (weekly setup/operations) - additional hours available for setup & manager roles.
• Thurs - 10a to 6pm
• Friday - 3pm to 10am
• Saturday - 3pm to 10am

Compensation: 

• $15 per hour for event execution - $4 hourly rate + $11 cash tips guarantee.
• $10 per hour for event setup.
• $250 bonus every 90 days on the job, + $100 bonus every 90 days a friend you referred is paid a bonus.

Other benefits:

• Be considered for manager roles ... banquet captain, event coordinator, asst mgr, operations mgr, and any other roles that may become available throughout all venues.
• All staff will be cross trained to setup, serve, host and bartend. 
• All staff will be have the opportunity to pickup additional shifts (after the events) throughout the nightlife venues for bartending, cocktail serving, hotdog stand, nightlife security, bull operator ..etc.

Requirements:

• Covid-19 vaccinated preferable
• Can Work (2) shifts per week - friday & saturday 3pm - 11pm
• Be able to carry 30 lbs.
• Meet basic background check, and have transportation.
