    Job Overview: As a Billing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our firm. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate billing, manage accounts receivable, and maintain positive relationships with our clients. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who is committed to excellence and eager to contribute to our team's success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate and send out invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing details and compliance with legal billing guidelines.
    • Keep track of client accounts, monitoring for overdue payments and promptly contacting clients to secure payment.
    • Address any client queries related to billing, providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relations.
    • Work closely with attorneys and other team members to ensure billing procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
    • Implement processes and technologies to streamline billing operations and improve the overall efficiency of the billing department.
    • Prepare reports and analyses related to billing activities, highlighting insights and recommendations to improve revenue collection.
    • Stay updated on the latest best practices in billing and compliance regulations to ensure our firm remains compliant and efficient.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in billing or accounts receivable, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
    • Proficiency in legal billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
