    Job Description

    THE POSITION Reel Security is currently seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Administrative Assistant to work in a fast-paced office environment with an emphasis on assisting with Human Resources tasks. This position is responsible for assisting with a variety of administrative Human Resources tasks, including assisting with recruiting, onboarding and answering employee questions. This is a great opportunity for someone who has basic knowledge in Human Resources and is looking to start a career in HR!

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Helping in recruiting and scheduling applicants for interviews/orientation.
    • Assisting in weekly new hire onboarding.
    • Assisting with payroll calls, employee hour verifications and resolving payroll discrepancies.
    • Maintaining and updating various databases (payroll, employee files, internal scheduling database).
    • Processing and auditing background checks.
    • Answering and directing phone calls (payroll, employment verifications, scheduling, employment issues).
    • Managing uniform distribution and inventory.
    • Executing additional key administrative tasks under the direction of management.

    SKILLS:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Strong ability to keep confidential information.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • A great attitude and work ethic.
    • Accurate and efficient data entry.
    • Excellent organizational skills.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • 1-2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or related position.
    • Basic knowledge of Human Resources.
