The Cyber Security Analyst Internship Program is designed to give students an opportunity to learn about their field. Interns will have the opportunity to apply concepts, protocols and tool acquired through coursework in the real world by working side with experts in cybersecurity. Internships will focus on mission areas such as identification and analysis of malicious code, forensics analysis, incident handling, intrusion detection and prevention and software assurance.
12 week internship
******_What You Will Learn
_**
- Develop unique, effective security strategies for software systems, networks, data centres, and hardware
- Implement/build-in security systems to software, hardware, and components
- Research best ways to secure company-wide IT infrastructure
- Build firewalls to protect network infrastructures
- QA software and hardware for security vulnerabilities and risks
- Monitor software for external intrusions, attacks, and hacks
- Close off security vulnerability in the case of an attack
- Identify cyber attackers, report to upper management, and cooperate with police or other legal forces to detain the perpetrator
- Work independently or as part of a team as needed

- Be enrolled, seeking to enrol or completed a bachelor's or master's degree program or similar in an accredited university with a major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Software Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Assurance, Information Technology, Systems Research, Systems Applications, Information Systems, Information Security, Software Assurance, or Business with a specific concentration in one of the above
- Demonstrate oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrate project leadership ability
