POSITION OVERVIEW

The Loan Advisor Assistant (LAA) provides sales support, customer service and junior processing assistance for a small team of high-performing Licensed Senior Loan Advisors to enable the LAs to interact with more customers, shorten the loan cycle time and increase conversion and production. The role is an ideal entry point for talented individuals to the dynamic residential mortgage industry. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Call potential customers to verify information provided online and introduce them to their Licensed Loan Advisor.

• Answer overflow inbound marketing calls for Licensed Loan Advisors.

• Follow up on active loans with stipulations outstanding and contact customers as necessary.

• Walk customers through e-signing of loan disclosures and ensure wet signatures are obtained when needed.

• Work with the Sr. Processor and Customer to follow up on the Needs List sent by the Senior Processor and obtain stipulations needed from the Customer.

• Contact all Customers in the loan process on a regular basis to provide excellent customer service.

• Assemble files for processing and ensure files clear the File Set Up milestone.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 6 months residential mortgage industry experience, applicable sales experience, or recent college degree.

• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.

• Aptitude to learn quickly, solve problems and have the desire to become proficient in mortgage loan origination.

• Proficient with standard computer applications including Microsoft Office 365 and possess the ability to efficiently navigate external websites and web portals.
