As a Software Engineer, you will be working with other developers to design well-crafted software. We are looking for engineers with a focus on code quality, developed in an agile environment utilizing modern architecture and design practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and test software meant to delight external customers while providing a strong foundation for future development
• Build a deep understanding of our current infrastructure and identify improvements to keep the company on the forefront of FinTech
• Discover and implement new patterns and technologies to reduce duplication and tech debt
• Work closely with a cross functional team of customer experience experts to deliver a simple, informative and effective interface that is second to none in the lending space
• Mentoring junior developers on JavaScript and engineering practices
• Relational Database such as SQL
• NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB

Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years work experience (9 years+ desirable)
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (5 years+) with React
• Strongs coding skills in language such as core Java or Go or Python or Scala.
• Test-Driven Development experience and a background in Jest (5 years+)
• Worked in Agile utilizing SCRUM (3 years+)
• Experience working in AWS (lambda in particular) is a plus
• Experience with DynamoDB and Serverless is useful
