    Goal:

    Provide support to production, Receiving, Shrink Wrap, Shipping, and all other function areas in a timely manner to ensure material and products at all stages of operation meet quality standards & customers’ requirements & instructions in safety and quality focused environment.

    General Responsibilities:

    Read production schedules and understand production runs.

    Prepare & stage material for production lines based on production schedule & quality requirements.

    Inspect incoming material to verify conformance with quality specifications.

    Inspect material at various stages of operation including production, shrink wrap & shipping to ensure material meets quality requirements at all stages of operation.

    Prepare and complete quality documentation at all stages of operations.

    Perform product testing using a variety of methods.

    Perform process & procedure audits in a manufacturing environment.

    Must have a sense of urgency, work in a fast-paced environment, multitask & work in different functions within quality.

    · Continuously work to resolve any potential or existing quality issues & concerns.

    · Participate in problem solving, process improvements and implementation of solutions to improve safety, quality, efficiency & reliability.

    Understand & utilize quality tools.

    · Maintain accurate quality records.

    · Ability to work overtime as needed.

    · Ability to pass & maintain Fork truck certification.

    · Ability to learn new skills as needed.

    Safety and Housekeeping

    · Ensure compliance with all PPE, safety standards and environmental regulations.

    · Perform all tasks while following all safety rules and procedures.

    · Follow fork truck safety rules & procedures.

    · Participate in various lean manufacturing activities.

    · Keep all work areas in a clean and orderly condition, and maintain a safe, clean & organized workplace.

    Education/Experience:

    · Minimum High school or GED.

    · Experience in quality control.

    · Cement, aggregate or similar industries experience is highly desirable.

    · Required basic understanding & working knowledge of scales, math, metric system & reading %.

    Work Schedule:

    7:00AM – 3:45PM Monday-Friday.

    Must be able to work overtime - early or over - as needed. Occasional weekends

    Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant.

    Lifting Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally up to 75 lbs.

    Dress Code: Casual.

    Classification: Hourly.
