Job Description
Takes inventory and restocks guestroom Mini Bars on a daily basis. Prepare charges for items used. Maintain stocks/supplies and cleanliness of work areas.
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Replenish the in-room refreshment centers
- Execute room deliveries as required
- Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, inventory, and ordering
- Follow company policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Maintain complete knowledge of:
- All items stocked in Mini Bars.
- and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
- services and facilities (i.e., hours of operation, menus, price range).
- Cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas; rectify any deficiencies.
- P.O.S and manual systems.
- Generate and distribute charges for Mini Bar use in each guestroom.
- Legibly document orders when system is down and distribute food orders to Kitchen.
- Retrieve all alcoholic beverage items from bar and serve to guest.
