    We are seeking an A-player Refrigerated Freight Sales and Operations Lead to build, coach, and scale a high-performing Carrier Sales team focused on temperature-controlled freight.     What You’ll Take the Lead On:

    • Managing and coaching a team of 3–6 Carrier Sales Representatives
    • Conducting weekly 1:1s, performance reviews, and call coaching
    • Developing your team in carrier negotiation, lane strategy, margin protection, and reefer market execution
    • Overseeing procurement of refrigerated and temperature-controlled capacity
    • Building and maintaining core carrier networks in key reefer lanes
    • Ensuring consistent coverage for produce, frozen foods, and dairy
    • Holding the team accountable to KPIs, including on-time performance, tender acceptance, load coverage time, and margin targets
    • Owning high-level relationships with refrigerated carriers and negotiating pricing agreements
    • Partnering with Customer Sales and Operations on new business wins, difficult lanes, and service recovery
    • Creating SOPs and training processes for reefer execution, temperature checks, breakdown response, and high-risk load planning

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 3+ years of freight brokerage experience
    • 2+ years of reefer or temperature-controlled freight experience (strongly preferred)
    • Prior leadership, mentorship, or team lead experience
    • Strong negotiation skills and deep reefer market knowledge
    • Proven ability to manage high-pressure, time-sensitive freight
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
