    Refrigeration Generalist Appliance Repair Service Tech

    Position Summary:

    The Refrigeration Generalist Appliance Repair Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of home appliances. This role requires strong customer service skills, technical expertise, and the ability to provide timely and efficient repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Employment Type: Full time, $60,000-$150,000

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment.

    • Provide cost estimates for repairs.

    • Communicate effectively with customers regarding services needed.

    • Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials.

    • Collect payment for completed work.

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicle.

    • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new appliance technologies.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    • EPA Type 1 or Universal CFC Certification required.

    • At least 1 year of appliance repair experience (preferred).

    Education Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strong customer service and communication abilities.

    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    • Efficiency in managing time and completing repairs.

    • Punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.

    • Willingness to learn and participate in continuous training.

    Location & Compensation:

    • Saddle Brook, NJ

    • Compensation: $60,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience. Compensation structure may include a daily guarantee, commissions, bonuses, and incentive pay. Top technicians can earn well over $100,000 annually.
