    Job Description

    We're seeking a talented and experienced Strategic Geopolitical Consultant (Remote) to join our team. You will support high-profile clients by conducting research and analysis to produce analysis that covers significant global issues and events, and work closely with our team to deliver high-quality analysis and report on a range of issues related to international relations, government policies, and geopolitical risk.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide scenario analysis and probabilistic thinking to produce informed insights and recommendations for clients.
    • Provide cogent early warning analysis data or first-hand material to various clients and internal teams through written and recorded deliverables.
    • Regularly produce and present high-quality written reports and in-depth presentations to clients, using a combination of quantitative, qualitative, and on-the-ground research. Articulate in-house views and forecasts confidently, effectively, and concisely during client meetings and calls.
    • Ensure the authenticity and freshness of our product by identifying and interviewing the world's leading subject matter experts and recently former senior government officials. Provide clients with the most accurate and reliable geopolitical insights and recommendations possible.
    • Build a high-level network in geographies covered. Establish and maintain professional relationships with key partners and business units across the company, government, law enforcement, public safety, industry partners, and intelligence-sharing organizations.
    • Assist team members in research, data analysis, and operational tasks as necessary.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (or above) in political science, public policy, foreign affairs, risk analysis, international relations, etc.
    • Strong research and analytical skills on geopolitical issues, better with a preference for specializing in Great Power Competition and Asia-Pacific Affairs, etc.
    • Ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
    • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for given topics and projects.
    • Previous experience working in foreign affairs, political research, NGO management, risk analysis, etc. Experiences in famous research institutes, think tanks, and government agencies are preferred.

    • You'll be able to work on a variety of research projects that will give you the chance to gain a deep understanding of the complex geopolitical landscape and contribute to delivering insights that will help shape global policies.
    • Work will start with a paid trial period. The pay for a single trial will not be less than $300.
