    Regional Account Manager – Industrial Automation (Agriculture)

    Midwest Territory | Direct Hire | $130,000–$150,000 Base + Commission

    Konik is partnering with a growing, family-owned automation and equipment solutions provider seeking to add a Regional Account Manager to support customers across the agriculture and industrial sectors. This senior-level role is focused on supporting feed mills, grain handling facilities, and agronomy operations in evaluating, designing, and implementing automation solutions.

    This position serves as both a technical advisor and strategic sales leader, working closely with agricultural producers, cooperatives, engineering firms, and contractors to influence project direction, improve facility performance, and drive long-term customer partnerships. The role combines relationship management, technical consultation, and business development within capital project environments.

    Regional Account Manager Responsibilities

    • Serve as a senior advisor to customers across feed, grain, and agronomy operations, supporting capital planning and automation strategy

    • Engage engineering firms, cooperatives, and project stakeholders during early project phases to influence specifications and system design

    • Provide technical guidance on automation systems including process flows, batching systems, controls architecture, and facility integration

    • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow new business within agricultural and industrial markets

    • Identify opportunities for facility improvements, system upgrades, and long-term automation investments within feed mills and grain facilities

    • Prepare proposals, process documentation, and system concepts to support project execution

    • Collaborate with internal engineering, software, and controls teams to deliver integrated automation solutions

    • Build relationships with cooperatives, millwrights, and agricultural partners across the territory

    • Maintain pipeline activity and manage opportunities within CRM systems

    • Participate in agricultural industry events, trade shows, and customer engagement activities

    Qualifications

    • 15+ years of experience in agriculture, feed mill operations, grain handling, agronomy, or industrial automation environments

    • Experience supporting capital projects, facility retrofits, or automation system implementations within agricultural or bulk material environments

    • Strong understanding of automation systems including PLCs, HMI/SCADA, batching systems, and bulk material handling processes

    • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings

    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across cooperatives, producers, and engineering teams

    • Experience working with engineering firms, contractors, millwrights, or agricultural operations teams

    • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

    • Willingness to travel approximately 25–50% across the territory

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary range: $130,000–$150,000

    • On-target earnings: $175,000–$195,000+

    • Commission and performance-based incentives
