Regional Director of Operations – Dayton, Ohio Region

ALIGN Executive Search is partnering with The Pavilion to find an experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee five skilled nursing facilities in the Dayton region.

Position Summary:
The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for driving census growth at each facility while ensuring residents receive the highest level of care in alignment with company standards. This role will guide and support Administrators through orientation, ongoing development, and performance planning to achieve operational excellence. The Regional Director will also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage budgets, and uphold the quality and safety of all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Increase census growth at each assigned facility 

• Ensure residents receive the highest level of care and that services meet company standards

• Oversee orientation of new Administrators and support their ongoing growth

• Establish performance plans for Administrators in alignment with company goals and operational expectations

• Oversee federal and state surveys for all facilities

• Ensure facility risk management strategies are implemented, monitored, and fully executed

• Participate in budget planning and review financial performance with Administrators

• Ensure company programs and goals are executed according to standards at the facility level

• Maintain facilities to meet company quality and safety standards

Requirements:

• Active LNHA license in Ohio preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Administrator in a long-term care setting (post-acute management preferred)

• Experience in a multi-site management position preferred; may consider a Senior Executive Director with 5+ years of experience

• Strong leadership skills to create business plans and set performance goals to maintain company growth

• Ability to work cooperatively with employees at all levels

• Consistent travel required

• Experience in healthcare or medical settings is a strong plus
