Retail marketing consulting firm seeks a Regional Director of Sales to lead the sales initiatives in multiple cities in a high-impact, consumer engagement and sales program.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Division Managers and provide strategic oversight, coaching, and accountability to ensure consistent execution of local plans, drive performance, and uphold the highest standards across their region.
- Serve as the central lead for a sales-focused activation program, driving increased sales performance every day
- Set expectations, KPIs, and provide high-frequency performance coaching
- Act as bridge between central leadership and local delivery—translating strategy into action
- Build a culture of accountability, excellence, and momentum across the region
- Champion team development, talent progression, and succession planning
- Monitor operational consistency across cities, identifying inefficiencies and best practices
- Drive high standards in deployment, logistics, stock management, and brand execution
- Ensure processes and tools are adopted and used effectively across all cities
- Take a hands on leadership approach to sales reviews and performance management
- Work in close partnership with Central Operations, Staffing, Production and Commercial teams to enable success in-market
- Influence and advocate for regional needs, ensuring strong alignment between central and local
- Ensure effective flow of communication, insight, and feedback between field and HQ
- Support Division Managers in building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience in the Beverage, Nicotine, or Tobacco industry.
- Excellent track record in managing a large sales territories and teams.
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
- Proven sales experience, particularly in technology sales or related fields.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- Strong business development acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
