EHC is currently looking for a Regional EHS Manager for a client in the south Houston, TX area.
Job Summary:
The Regional EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple sites or facilities within the assigned region. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage EHS programs across multiple facilities to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and leadership teams.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and track corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with site management and HR to maintain safe working conditions and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics; provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Support sustainability initiatives, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and environmental compliance efforts.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.
- Lead emergency preparedness and response planning for the region.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company-wide EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive EHS experience, including multi-site or regional management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local safety regulations.
- Proven experience in accident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 30%) across the assigned region.
- Warehousing, distribution, and/or manufacturing experience required.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM preferred.
