We are in search of an experienced event manager for two locations in Denver & Boulder. We are looking for someone to oversee the sales, planning, and execution of all event business for two high-volume bars and a collective of eateries. This position will lead a department with an Events Coordinator and will report directly to the Director of Operations. This dynamic, results-driven leader will develop and execute sales strategies, build strong client relationships, and oversee the planning and coordination of events to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with the on-site operations team, the Regional Event Sales Manager will maximize sales opportunities, maintain brand standards, and position both venues as premier destinations for corporate gatherings, social celebrations, and special events. Responsibilities: • Initiate and develop catering sales leads through networking opportunities • Actively prospect, solicit, and maintain event accounts through telephone, personal sales calls, on-site activations, etc • Outbound sales generation is a must • Create event proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders • Finalize the requirements of all events while maximizing revenue potential through up-selling and active communication • Host weekly BEO meetings with operations managers • Conduct site visits at both locations • Maintain knowledge of Avanti's capacities, dimensions, restaurant options, and basic operational needs • Identify new markets and opportunities to increase sales • Develop client loyalty to drive repeat event business • Service BEOs and finalize event checks with the Events Coordinator • Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand our customer base for event opportunities Qualifications: • 3+ years relevant Event experience • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations • Proficient in Microsoft Office. TripleSeat experience is a plus • Ability to look at the ‘big picture’ and lead with empathy • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service • Must possess patience and poise in stressful situations • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 yearly
