About the Role
As FIS Tampa area a Regional Field Director, you will be responsible for leading a large team, solving complex operational challenges, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and at a high standard. You’ll serve as the critical link between planning and execution—setting expectations, holding teams accountable, and making decisions that move the business forward.
You’re expected to lead from the front, not wait for direction.
Core Responsibilities
Lead all General Managers and operational team members in the field
Monitor workroom readiness, staffing, schedule integrity, customer communication, and installer support
Drive accountability through scorecards, inspections, reports, and direct field follow-through
Identify operational breakdowns early and create corrective action plans
Serve as the direct operational voice to the President on field conditions, risks, and performance needs
What You’ll Do
Take full ownership of operations and team performance
Lead, manage, and hold accountable a high-volume installation team
Identify inefficiencies and implement immediate and long-term solutions
Develop and execute action plans across multiple departments
Resolve complex customer and operational challenges with confidence
Establish structure, improve workflows, and drive consistency
Monitor performance metrics and align operations with revenue goals
Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and teamwork
What You Bring
5+ years of operations or management experience (construction or installation environments strongly preferred)
Proven ability to step into leadership roles and produce results quickly
Strong decision-making skills and the confidence to act without constant oversight
Experience managing teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Solid understanding of performance metrics, forecasting, and operational efficiency
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Availability for rotating Saturday mornings
Ability to pass a background check Forklift certification is a plus—we’ll provide training if needed.
