Locations: Role can be based out of and of our supply chain locations below or corporate office.
Hybrid Schedule (Performed at one of the locations above) : Monday-Thursday in office and Friday Remote
Salary: $85,000 to $105,000 plus a 10% annual bonus
Travel: Up to 50%
The Senior Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for partnering with supply chain center teams within the south region to execute health and safety policies and ensure compliance with applicable local, regional and federal regulations. They work with supply chain center leadership teams to create a culture of safety, to monitor and coach safety action items, and follow up on safety incidents to ensure appropriate action was taken. They lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk in our processes to ensure a safe working environment.
The Senior Health and Safety Specialist builds strong relationships with the supply chain team. They understand safety programs and can articulate them clearly to achieve operational buy in and ownership, while supporting site leadership in leading safety initiatives that increase team member involvement. They provide relevant risk assessments and safety data analysis to center leaders, partnering with them to develop mitigation plans.
The Senior Health and Safety Specialist encourages, requests, and leverages feedback to identify and remove barriers and safety concerns. They identify and appropriately escalate safety incidents to site, regional and key stakeholders to drive awareness and highlight opportunities for policy improvement.
