    The Multi-Family Regional Manager is accountable for the performance, consistency, and execution of all multi-family property management activities within their market. This role exists to ensure the multi-family portfolio operates in alignment with Augusta Rental Homes’ documented systems, standards, and Core Values, while delivering strong results for owners, residents, and the company. The Multi-Family Regional Manager is expected to lead by example and consistently embody and reinforce the company’s Vision, Core Values, and operating culture through daily decisions, leadership behavior, communication standards, and accountability, setting the tone for professionalism, discipline, and execution across the team. This is a leadership role, not a production role. The Multi-Family Regional Manager owns outcomes, not daily tasks. Success in this position is measured by portfolio performance and team execution, with particular focus on occupancy, delinquency, listed units, and overall operational stability. The Multi-Family Regional Manager leads a team of Portfolio Managers and is fully responsible for hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and termination when necessary. This role is accountable for building and maintaining a high-performing team that consistently follows the system and meets performance expectations. This position requires constant awareness of portfolio health and team performance. The Multi-Family Regional Manager is expected to know, at all times, the status of key metrics and operational risks, identify issues quickly, and ensure problems are resolved effectively and prevented from recurring. The Multi-Family Regional Manager is required to attend all weekly leadership meetings and come fully prepared to actively participate. This includes a clear understanding of overall business performance, departmental results, key metrics, operational risks, and major priorities. The Multi-Family Regional Manager is expected to contribute meaningfully to leadership discussions, provide accurate updates, surface issues early, and engage in problem-solving and decision-making that supports the health and direction of the company. Responsibilities: • Own the overall performance of your team within the market. • Lead, manage, and hold full accountability for your team. • Hire, onboard, train, coach, performance-manage, and, when necessary, terminate team members. • Enforce Augusta Rental Homes’ systems, standards, and operating procedures across all department operations. • Maintain constant awareness of department health, performance metrics, and operational risks. • Review reports, scorecards, and dashboards to confirm accuracy, timeliness, and performance trends. • Identify operational issues, drive root-cause resolution, and prevent recurrence. • Conduct audits and reviews to verify systems and processes are being followed consistently. • Ensure owners and residents receive professional, consistent, and reliable service. • Participate in leadership meetings to evaluate performance, personnel needs, and system effectiveness. • Ensure occupancy, delinquency, listed units, and operational issues are actively managed and within standards. • Onboard properties and owners that align with the values and standards of the company. • Operate within a disciplined leadership rhythm built on regular review, communication, and follow-up. • Conduct scheduled weekly one-on-one meetings with each team member focused on performance, priorities, and accountability. • Facilitate a scheduled weekly team meeting reviewing department results, risks, and execution of company standards. • Maintain weekly visibility into key metrics, operational risks, and performance trends. • Ensure required reports and updates are completed accurately and on time. • Proactively surface issues early rather than reacting to emergencies. • Build a stable, well-trained team that executes independently within documented systems. • Ensure escalations are rare, appropriate, and based on true exceptions. • Maintain predictable operations with minimal surprises operationally or financially. • Lead your team in a way that the department functions effectively without you performing your team’s responsibilities. Qualifications: • Experience : 5+ years in multifamily property management, including multi-site/regional leadership experience. • Leadership : Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring property managers. • Operational Knowledge : Deep understanding of budgeting, CapEx planning, resident relations, and owner reporting. • Problem-Solving : Ability to resolve escalated issues efficiently and train others to do the same. • Communication : Clear, professional communicator with owners, residents, and internal teams. • Tech Savvy : Familiar with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium), Google Workspace, Apple Products. • Travel : Must be able to travel frequently to properties within the Augusta Metro Area. • License : Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 yearly
