The Regional Marketer – Pooled Trust is a dynamic, field-based role focused on expanding our presence in Ohio & Massachusetts, and surrounding markets. This full-time position (9 AM–5 PM) is ideal for a motivated, personable professional with a paralegal-level understanding of elder law or estate planning. The Regional Marketer will serve as the face of our pooled trust services, forging relationships with attorneys, elder law firms, financial advisors, discharge planners, and nursing home administrators. The role involves significant travel to educate referral partners about our Medicaid planning and asset protection services, positioning our organization as the go-to partner for families navigating long-term care transitions. This position requires enthusiasm, strategic outreach, and the ability to connect legal and eldercare professionals with our specialized trust and planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Outreach and Relationship Building : Act as the primary representative of our pooled trust services, conducting in-person visits to law offices, care facilities, hospitals, and professional organizations to establish and nurture referral partnerships.
- Education-Based Selling : Deliver clear, compelling presentations to attorneys, estate planners, and eldercare professionals, explaining how our pooled trust services support Medicaid eligibility and asset protection for clients transitioning to long-term care.
- Networking and Events : Represent the organization at industry events, including Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions, bar association meetings, senior service expos, and professional conferences, to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Business Development : Identify and pursue new referral opportunities, focusing on building trust and collaboration with legal and eldercare professionals to drive Medicaid planning referrals.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with internal departments to align regional messaging with company goals, tailoring outreach strategies to each territory's unique professional landscape.
- Data Tracking and Reporting : Maintain detailed referral logs, track outreach efforts using CRM tools, and provide regular reports on regional trends, challenges, and opportunities to inform company strategy.
- Market Adaptation : Stay responsive to the distinct needs of each territory, adapting outreach approaches to local professional networks and eldercare ecosystems.
- Client Advocacy : Serve as a knowledgeable resource for referral partners, ensuring they understand how our organization simplifies Medicaid applications and asset planning, ultimately benefiting their clients.
Qualifications
- Required :
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or client outreach, preferably in the legal, financial, or eldercare industries.
- Strong understanding of elder law, estate planning, or Medicaid planning (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex legal concepts).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present services to attorneys and other professionals.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of managing an independent schedule and frequent travel within Ohio & Massachusetts, and surrounding areas.
- Comfortable with extensive travel (up to 50–75% of work time) to meet with referral partners and attend industry events.
- Preferred :
* Legal background, such as experience as a paralegal or in law firm business development.
* Existing network of contacts among elder law attorneys, estate planners, or Medicaid-focused professionals.
* Experience launching products or services in new geographic markets.
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking leads and outreach activities.
* Public speaking experience, such as delivering presentations, participating in panels, or leading continuing education sessions.
Compensation
- Salary Range : $80,000–$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
